In wake of the first Classics of 2018 one of the designers is Boston’s very own Cheresse Denise Mccrory and her eye catching line CHERESSEDENISESTYLES.

Cheresse started off at an early age, in her junior year of high school took up sewing. The first project was to create a huge arm rest, her love and sheer pride sparked her curiosity. If she could create an arm rest what could she do with her love for fashion and dress up. Years later the answer is garments that are unique, eye catching and truly breathtaking. 

Everything and anything can spark inspiration if you allow it too. This is something Cheresse has been blessed with, being able to draw inspiration from that which is around her. Be it something as simple as the weather or something as complex as ones mood, everything can be something if you allow it! The passion and hard work of others are a tool Cheresse uses to further spark her passion and love she places in each garment as they’re being made.

“... I want to inspire, motivate, bring new trends with a twist of Cheresse in everything I do...”. Creating art that moves people, that allows people to feel the passion with which each garment was made. These garments are made to last for generations to come, allowing her love and passion to be passed down for generations to come. Each garment leaving its mark, the Cheresse mark.

Cheresse had some wise words for those who are in and those who will be entering the fashion industry. 

“Fashion will forever be around, but with every new trend... the designer is the artist and the garments are your master piece”.  Never be afraid to challenge yourself or try something daring, just remain true to yourself. Work hard and remain dedicated to your dream!
